DR. BRITTANY FACTOR
Dr. Brittany Factor, DVM CVA CVMMP
Growing up in Missouri, Dr. Brittany Factor’s love of horses began early. She spent her school breaks immersing herself in anything horse-related by volunteering at the local horse camp, shadowing professionals, and working as a stall cleaner and groom, oftentimes trading work for riding lessons.
Always the well-diversified competitor, Dr. Factor has since competed in everything in between gymkhanas and grand prix jumpers. Now fiercely charging down the fence on a cow horse or teaching a beginner lesson, she continues to prove her dedication to the sport.
Being the youngest to graduate from her veterinary class, Dr. Factor has several post-doctoral training accomplishments and certifications in equine sports medicine, advanced imaging, medical manipulation (chiropractic), acupuncture, and rehabilitation.
Her most memorable working experience was as a junior associate with Virginia Equine Imaging (VEI), the head veterinary coordinator of the World Equestrian Games in 2010. It was there she learned that it was possible to combine 2 passions, horse competition and veterinary medicine, into one career.
Today, Dr. Factor attends AQHA and NRCHA competitions across the country. Although you might find her astride a horse, she is always available for inquiry.
